My pitcher is used to pour piping hot tea which is then chilled to make iced tea. The jug is perfect for this. Nice additions are a heating pad and a cleaning tool. After the first cleaning, the filter cover fell apart. The welded rod jumped out of the cover. It has been renovated. Otherwise, a cleaning scrubber is perfect for this jug. And it even has a hidden pipe cleaner. But since the handle is short, the brush keeps flying out when I wash the pot. Superglue fixed it. Despite the problems, I order another pot.
