Review on πŸ–₯️ Dell 27 Inch LED Lit Frameless Wide Screen Monitor, 1920X1080, 60Hz, HDMI - Discontinued Manufacturer Model β€Ž927M9 by Troy Hurst

Very sharp and clear display but too reflective

Like the others, this monitor has a great picture apart from glare when viewing dark/black backgrounds. I find it distracting, even in a dimly lit room. The monitor screen is very glossy and it is difficult to get rid of all the reflections on it. Controls are adjusted via the touch areas of the monitor frame, there are no physical buttons and no tactile feedback. GOOD: + Image is great, especially for text. This is a full 1080P display. VGA cable is included but does not include DVI or HDMI.+ Input supports DVI, VGA and HDMI.+ Has 2 USB2.0 ports. USB AB cable included. + Power is supplied via an external 12V power supply, which can be easily replaced in the event of a failure as it is not integrated into the monitor. + The physical build quality is excellent, the monitor base is nice and heavy so you don't accidentally tip over. The packaging of the box is thick and strong to protect it from possible damage in transit. BAD: An overly glossy screen can reflect the user or the room, especially with a dark screen background. I would prefer a matte (not glossy) screen. The USB ports are located behind the monitor and are inconvenient for frequent access/use. Suitable for USB keyboard/mouse as it is rarely accessed. Overall this is a good monitor once you get used to the glossy reflections. I also had to turn down the brightness as it was way brighter than my old monitor. I recommend it, especially if you mainly work with light backgrounds (display, text, programming, etc.).
