Nonsense 1) It's very weak. 4) Plastic scratches when touched incorrectly. 5) Fixing clips will break if you touch them wrong. 6) The hole in the front panel is only suitable for 173mm radios. Good luck financing your 173mm radio. Almost all dual dins have a large aperture. The fact is that the cage really does fit in the hole. The interchangeable ventilation ducts really match the cage. So there's no logical reason why they couldn't design the front panel to fit the more common double din sizes. Zero. In theory it can be modified with extremely generous use of the Dremel. Due to the construction, however, this is not recommended. I ended up smashing mine and basically have to make my own faceplate. If it was $20 (about the cost) then I wouldn't have been so upset. But the manufacturer has the gall to charge $175 for this junk.
