Sorry the people who gave this product bad reviews don't know how to adjust it for maximum performance! "Old televisions” were expressly mentioned as a marketing goal. But apparently very few people realize that HDMI cables in general have a very big problem. and that means they are usually very short! So you no longer need to connect HDMI cables to a TV that is 25 feet or more from an HDMI source, whether that source is a DVR, DVD player, Blu-ray player or cable box acts. However, this product accepts HDMI signals and outputs them to analog TV channel 3. Almost nobody knows that all television sets in the USA use the NTSC-M signal transmission method. You have to select NTSC-M in the popup menu, otherwise the picture will be horrible, flickering and mostly colorless! But what really sets this product apart is that it allows you to perfectly adapt the picture to any television you wish to display it on, whether that television is brand new or vintage from the 1960's! The image can be adjusted (independently) by Hsize (horizontal size), Vsize (vertical size), brightness, contrast, saturation (color level), hue (hue) and sharpness! Because the output signal is RF (analog TV channel 3 only), using a cable splitter (or even better, a splitter with an amplifier) you can connect multiple TVs to the output and get a near-perfect picture from multiple TVs around the world. your house or building! Is it 1080P on every TV? No it's not, but the picture is definitely nice and the colors are very good too, especially considering how much customization the remote offers! Personally, I use a remote power strip so I can control all the adjustable settings remotely, even from another floor! One way to cause problems with this device is to connect the HDMI source BEFORE connecting the power supply. This will cause trouble! The bottom line (for me) is that this unit deserves five stars overall for HDMI quality over TV channel 3!
