Good monitor in my review

There are many things to like about this monitor. It's easy to adjust the height, it can rotate, the angle can be tilted up and down, it has built-in speakers (I use the Bose Solo 5 soundbar instead of the built-in speakers), the side and top bezels aren't there either too wide, and the picture quality is very good, with many picture configuration options. (I connected a 3.5mm stereo connecting cable from the back of the monitor to the soundbar.) I watch TV and cable channels, movies and TV shows through my computer, so I need a larger, high-resolution, high-quality monitor. DPI capability. I didn't want to spend that much and buy one of the many $500+ monitors, but I didn't want one of the cheaper, lower DPI 32 inch monitors. So far this LG has met my needs. I've chosen the HDR Effect image setting for most use cases, and it's quite nice. There is also a "Custom" picture setting that allows you to customize many settings. (I would never settle for LG's factory settings.) The monitor is very heavy. It's a lot harder than I expected. Assembling the stand is very easy. Detaching the stand is also very easy. The build quality of this monitor appears to be good. Assuming that this just released monitor will perform well for a long time, LG did a great job and I'm glad I bought it.

Pros
  • Virtually borderless 3-sided design with tilt, height and swivel stand
Cons
  • Something else
