Good board for beginners but wears out quickly

I bought this board because my boyfriend and I got into skateboarding. I've never ridden much so I decided to buy a board that isn't super expensive. The board looks very nice, it has metal carts, decent bearings and the graphics are nice. After a few weeks, once I got comfortable on the board, I started experimenting with a few simple tricks, just trying to ollie and push it. decent fees. And after practicing (and failing) a few ollies, the lamination of the wood that makes up the board actually started peeling. I knew in that moment that I had to invest in a better board. Also, the wheels say they're either 100a-101a (which is the hardness of the wheel), but they're definitely softer. Most likely 80a-85a. I tried powersliding a few times but the board just wouldn't spin. The wheels were too "sticky". I have now bought a higher quality branded board (blind) and it is holding up much better. The wheels on my new board are listed as 99a (Spitfire wheels) in my opinion and slide much better than the wheels on the minority board. try to make yourself comfortable. If you are serious about trying skateboarding and trying tricks, I would recommend checking out a real skateboarding site like Skate Wearhouse. Or, better yet, go to your local skate shop and buy a board there. Speaking face-to-face with someone familiar with the boards is a great help.
