Great board for beginners

For the price this board is phenomenal. A solid deck, pretty decent wheels and bearings, and pretty good carts. The grip tape broke off in a few small spots on the edge of the deck when it hit the concrete but other than that I've never had a problem with any other part of the board and personally I don't think you can find anything better for this great price . . If you want to learn to skateboard but don't want to spend a lot of money, you can't go wrong with ordering.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Poor workmanship, good for skateboarding

This skateboard was completely unusable as it was delivered. The fittings were tightened with different torques for all fittings. Some of the screws were recessed into the deck of the skateboard, while others protruded. The swivel screw on the rear bogie had been completely torn off, so that the bogie only wobbled. I'm really disappointed with this purchase. This was my son's first skateboard and now I have to return it a week before Christmas. I'm glad I was able to spot these imperfections…

5-star product

5 star product! The quality really surprised me. It didn't break in half when I put my own weight (180lbs, slim body) on it. I can lean forward and backward so turning should be good, the wheels don't give out. I also put my weight on two wheels to see how it handled weight distribution and it held up pretty well. I am changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I just tried this at a skate park near my house and it worked really well! Works best on smooth surfaces.

Great board for beginners

Bought this for my son and he loves it. The trucks are a little tight and the paint seemed to have chipped a bit when we got it and got worse. But it's solid and gives him a nice wide platform for his first board. The wheels are ok for the price and I assume that you will have them for a while. I read that the weight limit is in the 225 range. I wouldn't trust that as it fits my 65 lb son perfectly, but it seems like it might sag under me. I would say this is a 4.5 star board.

I love skateboarding!

I originally bought this skateboard for my little brother, the price was good and the board itself looked nice. My brother fell in love with the board when he first got it and couldn't put it down all day. I noticed that some reviews said they had cracks or something was wrong with the skateboard itself, but mine came in perfect condition, nothing wrong. The only thing I would add is that it is quite frayed around the edges. So if you ride a lot, you'll soon need some griptape. My brother used…

A good skateboard that needs breaking in

This is a good and inexpensive 8" x 31" deck with good pivots and bearings. The wheels have a grippy surface that I think should break the bearings. The wheels are a bit too grippy at first, but once the surface on them wears down, things become very different. To be honest the only things I would change are the wheels and the tape on the deck itself. The adhesive on the griptape isn't the best and the material of the tape tends to tear at the edges, but for the price it's hard to beat. Overall

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

Sturdy than others but otherwise ok

I bought this board because my work schedule makes going to skate shops uncomfortable. I skated a bit as a kid, but that was so long ago that I could very well be a beginner. I'm 6ft 250lbs and the only issue I've had with durability is the clutch band coming off where my forefoot goes. Not fantastic, but fixable. I ollie at least an hour a day for a week and the tree was not harmed. Maybe I just got a particularly good one, but if I can overload the board and not break it, all I can think of…

Very good for what you pay for.

This has been my first review for a long time that is so easy with me. I wanted to skate again after 6.5 years of abstinence. Now that I'm an adult, it makes no financial sense for me to spend more than $100 on a skateboard. So I went to Revain and found the best budget board I could find to really see if I was sticking with it. I've had this board for about 3 weeks, I've been training maybe 3 hours a week. That being said, I'll get into the details. I really can't say anything bad about the…

Good board for beginners but wears out quickly

I bought this board because my boyfriend and I got into skateboarding. I've never ridden much so I decided to buy a board that isn't super expensive. The board looks very nice, it has metal carts, decent bearings and the graphics are nice. After a few weeks, once I got comfortable on the board, I started experimenting with a few simple tricks, just trying to ollie and push it. decent fees. And after practicing (and failing) a few ollies, the lamination of the wood that makes up the board…
