Review on NGK 52048 FDZ066 Spark Plug by Bryan Finken

Thank you Revain for refunding my purchase. This kit is not designed for the 4.0 liter SOHC engine. Probably a great fit for the pushrod 4.0 liter engine available on the same car. The problem was that the manual "make sure it fits" said this kit would fit ALL 4.0 liter engines when I checked my make, model and year. 3 star neutral rating because I can't comment on product performance. They make good contact with the connector but rub against the side of the engine (Ford 4.0 SOHC). The additional 1.5" of clearance would also help route the wires with some slack as some of the wires are now live and not aligned with the OEM terminals installed on the motor. The cable length seems to be the same as the OEM, but the design of the case falls short. A lot of similar NKG wire sets (which Revane says don't fit my motor) seem to have straight black terminals where the wires come out at a 90 degree angle, that would be much better for my motor. One of NGK's marketing claims is that they number the cables to make installation easier. Too bad they were numbered backwards from the numbers on the OEM cables. I have used NGK for connectors and cables on Honda and Toyota vehicles and they have worked great. I am surprised and very disappointed in the fit of this set.
