Okay, maybe not for ANY occasion - better not for funerals and corporate events. I ordered this product as a backdrop for a Batchelor party and it arrived exactly as described. The banner is made of thick plastic that looks like gold with glitter accents. It arrived in a minimal plastic case and is supplied unassembled. It has two separate gold threads that run through holes in the top of the letters. This allows you to place the banner in a row or two, whichever works best for your space. The size is perfect for placement over a table or over a railing. Used alone, it may look minimalistic, but it definitely adds a humorous flair as a backdrop for photos, especially when paired with side balloons or other party supplies. a dash of humor as none of those present would even consider a stripper. This embarrassed the groom so much that the purchase was worth it. Plus, it added that authentic striptease cleaning experience that stayed in our hearts and on our hands for days to come. You know, if the first marriage doesn't work out. Overall, you won't beat the value for money with any other product. If you're staring at your screen and contemplating whether to buy this item, I strongly encourage you to do so - as long as both parties in the marriage have a sense of humor. As an added bonus, as the letters come unassembled this opens up the possibility of rearranging the letters into an even funnier anagram should the opportunity arise. 10/10 highly recommended.
