Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Crankbrothers F15, F10 Plus, and F10 Multi-Tool - Optimized Chain Tool with Torx and Hex Compatibility for Bicycles by Andrew Webster

Beautiful view. smooth.but.

Nice and compact. Maybe because of the compactness. It didn't work in two places when I needed it most. 1. Adjusting the derailleur during a group ride. Phillips is not the right size. (Almost not enough for Shimano 105 adjustment screws). The bits are very short and it is not possible to manipulate the angle enough to push the flat body enough to rotate and hold the tool in the screw. 2. Didn't work when you had to climb into the 105 brifter to pin it down while riding, just too short to reach and body too wide and flat to turn around if you could reach it. The tool is nifty and has worked for a variety of fine maintenance jobs, but the short bits and wide body really limit its use. The multi-tool is meant to throw unwanted bike toys in the bin, but with the new longer-nozzle multi-tool I keep the housing and broken chain on the bike. After all, it's a bottle opener, and who doesn't need one.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything
