Review on Coolaroo The Original Cooling Elevated Pet Bed - Enhancing Comfort for Small to Large Pets by Adrianne Jimenez

I really, really wanted to like this. I read the reviews of how difficult it was to put together and I thought "man I may be an old lady but I'm quite mechanical - how difficult can that be?" and ordered it for my 45lb Border Collie. The material and color were great and everything but the last leg matched easily. I followed the instructions and even went to the Coolaroo website and watched their videos a few times on how to put it together. The disappointing part was that the last bolt I tried to insert (with the other three only partially inserting as directed) broke. I didn't know why I couldn't get it to grab the threads in the pole. Then I asked my handyman who was doing another project here to try it - he couldn't either, looked at the screw and showed me that the bottom threads on the screw weren't how they should be. I went to Home Depot and bought a bolt that I was hoping would work, but it didn't either. I might even line up the holes and stick a screwdriver in to make sure they line up, but since I did it myself the thing that exploded was a little off when I pulled out the screwdriver and tried to put the bolt in. I tried the spirit moving me for a few weeks because I really wanted it to work. In the end I just gave up and sent it back to Revane. I understand it's supposed to be tight, but even with my Home Depot bolt I couldn't get the last leg down (according to the video) to create tension. It was too much trouble.
