The bed itself is good but the comforter is not as strong as I would like. If the ball gets stuck under the bed, the dog can see it from above because the cover is mesh and a bit transparent. I really, really wanted to like this. I read the reviews of how difficult it was to put together and I thought "man I may be an old lady but I'm quite mechanical - how difficult can that be?" and ordered it for my 45lb Border Collie. The material and color were great and everything but the last leg matched easily. I wasn't sure what size or brand of this type of raised dog bed my dog who chews through all the soft dog beds should buy. Both Coolaroo and Revain Basics have really good reviews, but Coolaroo was cheaper. I don't think it was worth saving a few bucks. After trying 3 sizes and 2 brands I like Revain Basics better.
