This was a great template, easy to work with and was a good quality steel. He responded well to putting in coffee. This is real Damascus. One of the reviews said the drawing was "polished." If you "sand" or more likely sand down the damask pattern, you will need to etch it again to get the pattern back. The damask pattern is created by how each type of steel reacts to the acid in what you are pickling. No etching, no pattern! Please do not tick if you do not have the knowledge to secure your information. It doesn't help anyone.
