The velcro is beautifully stitched and goes from end to end
I tried another one made out of plastic with magnets to hold it in place. The glue will shift when hot. I thought I'd try. It was half the price of the competition so I wasn't expecting much. However, it's made from the finest materials with a soft inner lining so it won't chafe your gear. The Velcro is well stitched and runs from one end to the other. All I had to do was cut slits on each end to bypass the attachment points. I've had it for a few months and it's weatherproof and holds up well at cruising speeds. I highly recommend it.
