Novelty but no more than that
Silicone brushes don't really erase anything like a sponge or even steel wool. But I needed it for my coated pots and pans. I didn't want to destroy them with steel wool. However, they don't really do much other than mold at the base of these brushes and are very difficult to clean. I think I could throw them in the washing machine but haven't tried it yet.
