I bought this hoping I could make a richer cup of coffee than my Mr. Coffee. I'm glad this is the case! I can even use less coffee than at Mr. Kaffee. Of course, ground coffee is your best bet, as the grounds don't go through the press when poured, although that wasn't a huge issue. The 8-cup press makes 3 large cups/mugs of coffee.
