Pros: * Bright *white* light * Lightweight * Easy to mount on wooden surfaces with just two screws. * Wide angle, almost 180 degrees full light. * The two lamps in the box have their own plug and switch or can be connected together. * Super easy to install. You can just look at the position of the screws and the clips will rotate to align. * My basil plants have started to grow again. (Om nom nom.) * Really helped my SAD symptoms (aka the winter blues). * Perfectly illuminates the closet. Cons: *Very bright, too bright for peripheral vision. you have been warned * BYO drywall anchors. (It doesn't matter if you have cases like I do.) *Wide angle isn't suitable for some applications, so you'll need to make or get a reflector. * There are special plugs on the ends that only work with the included cord, so you can't just add another type of light to the circuit like some other shop lights do. I bought one to grow my basil and it has worked well. A real grow light might be a little better, but it's a cheap alternative that works great. I placed a second one behind my home monitor to bounce off the wall like ambient light and it really helped with my SAD symptoms. I liked the first two so much that I bought another set and used one as cabinet lighting for a kitchen counter in a dark part of the kitchen. Now there is a lot of light and I don't have to tilt my body to let the light in to see anything. I had to make sure it was far enough away that I didn't have a direct line of sight into the kitchen so I wouldn't be blinded.
