We used to keep our rabbit in an old dog cage. We ran them as many times as we could, but it seemed unfriendly. When we received the hexagonal gate and this playpen, the rabbit's life changed! No more blanket, large movement area and very easy to clean. Anyone who owns a rabbit understands the need to clean the cage frequently. This insert contains her bedding, food bowl and tray and allows us to attach her water bottle and salt shaker to the cage. We have three liners that we change every cleaning. I wash the empty insert with pet safe soap and rinse with a hose. It's lightweight and dries quickly. It then folds into a compact form that can be stored until we need it. Our rabbit is happier and healthier with this setup and I recommend it to everyone! Not to mention that you can't beat the price and it's good for the environment. Everything in her cage is biodegradable and goes straight into our compost outside. If you've thought about this setup, do it.
