I have chargers all over the house. When I'm in the kitchen, living room, playroom, garage, office, bedroom. I have charging cables everywhere. All these charging cables take up my limited connection space. Using these USB ports allows me to get 2 USB ports plus a standard 2-way connector. I had to use multiple adapters everywhere. Bound life is standard these days. Alexa devices, smart devices, kids tablets, cell phones, etc. We need a lot of USB ports. I bought my first one about 8 months ago and am now replacing more and more outlets in my house. The loading speed may not be as fast as advertised. I use a USB voltage tester and understand that they rarely live up to what is advertised. It charges above 1A but I haven't seen it go up to 2 amps.
