I thought the whole set were magnets, when actually only chopsticks are magnets. The balls are metal, so they stick to the sticks but not to each other. Since the balls aren't magnetic, when my kids throw the bags away, they have to be very careful not to let the pieces of ball fly around the room. Also, the instructions show different things you can do, which is a bit misleading. Some of these things are cool, but they're almost impossible to put together without them collapsing on their own due to the weight. My kids still love playing with it.
