Review on Horse Fly Mask With Full Face Coverage And Eye Protection - SuperMask II Without Ears, Average Size Horses, Structured Classic Styling Mesh With Plush Trim by Stacy Glasrud

Pretty flimsy compared to others

These masks are a little on the flimsy side compared to some we use. If your animal likes to try and rub their mask off on corral panels and what not, the mesh will wear out really quickly. We had one last only a day before becoming unusable when one of our geldings rubbed it on a corral panel bolt. Other brands we've used seem to last nearly the entire fly season with the same horses and same abuse. Perhaps if your animal is not as feisty as ours are, the light construction would be less of a factor. I wouldn't put them on a mule in a cactus patch.:-)

Pros
  • THE FLY MASK DOUBLE-LATCH CLOSURE is located under the jaw, not on the cheekbone, making it harder for other horses to reach
Cons
  • The mask may become wet and heavy in rainy or humid weather, potentially causing discomfort and irritation
