Review on 🚴 ELITE Qubo Fluid Home Trainer 2016: Revolutionize Your Indoor Cycling Experience by Ans Brownlee

Excessively high resistance

I bought two of these. One from ebay but it was broken and used even though the advert said it was new. So I bought from Revain. The seller was sociable and helpful. The device itself looks solid due to the use of quality materials and components. The installation instructions are clear enough, although they don't state that it's a 40mm roller. You'll have to google to find out. I installed the block for a 40mm size in the required holes according to the instructions. I researched and bought this trainer because its design made it fit wheels up to 20 inches (406). Overall it was very promising until I actually tried it. He is very quiet. Much quieter than other trainers. The resistance was not as advanced as claimed. It started high and only the lowest gears let me pedal. Anything else and I literally had to lean out of the saddle to get it rolling. The seller stated that it should have been normal. The resistance was so high that the tires burst. My speed dropped by over 70% on this track. I tried two different bikes on it. A normal mountain bike and a folding bike with 451 tires. It didn't even come close to working on all of the video reviews I've looked at. I returned it and bought a Kurt Kinetic Fluid Trainer instead. Works much better as the resistance gets higher the faster you pedal. It's a much smoother ride and comes close to street riding, although it's still more difficult than street riding. It can accommodate wheels up to 22 inches.

Pros
  • Made from the highest quality materials
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
