Review on 🌬️ Ultimate All-in-One Cooling Solution: 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier, Fan Mode, Remote Control, and Window Mount Exhaust Kit by Jonathan King

However, my room is no longer unbearable.

My brief review, my room is cooler, but I would not buy the device again. It's too high maintenance and doesn't cool properly. Advantages: space cooler, can leave window bars. Disadvantages: water retention, insufficient cooling, noise, vent hose gets hot. If you want to know more about my experiences, please read on. I've been using the 8000 BTU device for about 3 weeks. It cools my room, but not at all like a 5000 or 8000 BTU window unit. When I used them, I put a blanket on my bed. This does not require a blanket. The window block cooled both my room and my small hallway. It's not like this. Due to the high humidity on the east coast, I've had to drain this portable twice in the past two weeks (about 1.5 cups of water in cool mode). If I don't empty it, I start to see water dripping onto the floor from the front vents. I put it on a shoe tray I bought from Ikea in case there was a drain problem. To be honest, I had the same problem with water on my window unit vents. I just feel like I paid too much money to drain this wearable and prevent it from cooling properly. I only bought it because I can close the screen to keep pests out. The squirrels ate through the plastic side panels of my window unit twice, ruining the blinds and window sill. Room 12x14m. Maybe 10,000 BTUs will work better. BTW, the window is about 30 inches, so we had to cut the window putty panel twice so we could fit a piece of it into each piece of the panel with the tubing attached.

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model
