As many others have noted the holes in the handle where you put the rods were too small. If you push hard enough, the bars will go into the holes. After installation, the handle did not open the door. I had to push the bottom bar in front of the door several times. This somehow loosened the spring and the door handle worked. Be sure to google how to remove the inner door panel. There are good videos on the internet. This saves you a lot of time.
