At first I thought the paper worked well - turning orange with acids and greenish with my tap water. Then I tried bleach. He registered bleach as a weak acid! Well, that's not entirely true. He showed the bleach as a dark green for the base - literally a split second before it turned orange. Seriously, blink and you'll miss it. You may not have had time to compare the paper to the chart to see how easy it is. I've tried submerging it and also using an eyedropper to put a drop of bleach on the paper, but either way the result was the same.
