The reviews were brilliant, the price was right, the unit has insane cooling factor and I just knew it would make a great replacement for my portable Ionic Breeze before recently expired after many years of loyal service. I was wrong. My biggest complaint is the same as many other 1 star reviewers and that is that it just doesn't clear the air of dust, dirt, hair or anything else. Of course, it gives off a small amount of ozone, but that's about it. I have larger Ionic Pros at home and I clean them once a week. When I take out the blades to clean I can easily see black dirt on wet paper towels when I wipe the blades, but with this OION Technologies B-1000 Ionic Air Purifier Pro Ionizer Permanent Filter with UV-C Sanitizer I can clean the blade all two weeks and even then there is almost nothing left on the paper towel when I wipe it off. This is a small fan that emits a small amount of ozone and has a cool night light. In a small bathroom, however, it helps a little.
