Review on 🖊️ ELECOM Pencil-Feel Screen Protector for Drawing on iPad Air 4 & iPad Pro 11" (2020) - Precision with Compatibility! by Isaac Tutt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good balance between writing and screen quality

Screen quality has degraded - as you would expect from a matte screen protector designed for use with the Apple Pencil - but not as much as I expected. Screen quality is still pretty good, although bright colors like white appear grainy. There is also a slightly noticeable iridescent effect on the grains. Writing with an apple pencil was good too. Not as grippy and comfortable as a paper-like screen protector, but still significantly better than a glass screen. Overall, I personally think it's somewhere in the middle between writing ability and screen quality. For me, the increase in writing functionality outweighs the decrease in screen quality. I would recommend it to people who often use their iPad for writing or drawing, but also want to keep the screen quality for watching videos or browsing the web. But if you only use your iPad for writing or drawing, it's probably better to get a paper-like screen protector as it's more comfortable to write on. If you want to keep your iPad's screen sharp and don't use it to write or draw often, it's probably better not to buy a matte screen protector at all.
