We bought this gate to keep our German Shepherd puppy in places where we could control him. It was a great product for the first four months until it broke. Like another reviewer, the plastic on the hinge side is broken, causing the gate to slide out every time it's opened. The gates were opened and closed maybe five times a day so they wouldn't break from overuse. Our pup is now 8 months old and we have been looking forward to using this fence to keep him off the carpet so he doesn't have to be locked in the cage when we are away but looks like he will again be in the cage for a while. our poor girl!
