I had one of these tools many years ago, but over the years it kind of got lost in a bunch. VERY useful tool! This replaces the claw hammer and cold chisel. I've taken possession of a shipment of Bedford stone from a burned out motel. I intend to reuse the stone to build a half wall on either side of the grill station. Many panels came with old mortar. I got to work one afternoon when the weather wasn't too cold and started pounding hard on the mortar (but not hard enough to break the brick underneath) and removed all the old mortar from about 100 bricks or so 45 minutes. The tip easily breaks the grout and the old grout just peels off. And it's not too hard for an old lady like me!
