This cushion is a great alternative to the high priced sensory cushions found in therapy and education catalogs. I have worked in elementary schools and child development centers with children with autism so I am very familiar with these seats. When I noticed my 4-year old was not able to stay in his seat at dinner I knew the solution was to find him a way to move while staying in his seat instead of demanding he "sit still". He spent most of his meal getting up to run around and then plop back in his seat for another bite. I ordered this seat and it arrived quickly. The pump that was included was easy to use and filled the cushion quickly. I introduced the cushion to my son and now he sits and wiggles through dinner. He does still get up occasionally but not the constant up and down like it was before. The cushion is holding up well and we used it for over a month (breakfast and dinner every day and lunch on the weekends) before we needed to add a little air. That would be my only complaint but I don't think it is a major concern. Given the price I don't mind adding a little air every month or so. Overall I would highly recommend it for helping a child stay attentive.
