Disappointed with this device.

I purchased this unit on the recommendation of a field representative. and I liked the graphics and the large 4.3 inch screen. I travel for work and after experimenting with a GPS in a rental car I decided I should get a GPS for my travels. I've owned this device for a little over a year and here's my 2 cents: The battery life is terrible. ALWAYS take your charger with you or you will be left without money. Sent my first unit in for battery repair/replacement because I couldn't believe it was that bad. Major Nightmare (2 months+) trying to get it back, customer service excuses/tons of emails/lost/inventory etc. Hangs or locks up at the worst possible time You have to bring paperclips to 'reinstall' it. the Autobahn trying to insert a bent paper clip into a pin-sized hole to reset it. And sometimes you won't know it's locked, it just won't update anymore, which is hard to tell when the settings are in the airplane view. I drove past a freeway entrance at 120 km/h and am I supposed to get off? It really sucks being late for an appointment and now having to drive 2 miles to the next exit and a U-turn. Twice I tried to update the maps online and twice it got COMPLETELY erased all (100) of my saved addresses. I worked from home for two weeks and left it in the car, used it (the battery was long dead of course) and all addresses were erased AGAIN. There is no complete user manual. Can't figure out how to prevent addresses from being permanently deleted? The windshield mount isn't very well designed either. It broke on first use. And since this GPS is very heavy, it will fall off the windshield if left in the sun for too long (I live in Southern California). So everything bounces off until it hits the ground. For the price I paid for this device ($400 retail!), it sucks. I'll get rid of it and get something else.
