CONDA Hardcover Spiral Sketchbook This is the right size and price for me. I need a sketchbook that I can use both as a personal journal and as a place to draw. This paper is spot on. It is heavy and rough enough to be applied with water that is not too wet, but smooth enough to write on quickly. Paperbacks warp and become noticeable which is why I always like hardcover magazines/sketches because you can flip the top cover off and use the whole thing as a stable base to write on. The price is good, although I would like twice as many pages. But I will write little by little and I hope this will be the last. I have a few other supplies I'm going to use like pencils and crayons. I suspect that even acrylic paint would be required for this as it is not usually as wet as watercolor paint.
