Honda has a serious manufacturing defect in the power window assemblies used in the Honda Pilot. Here you have the advertised Japanese quality. My sunroof broke twice on the driver's side and now on the passenger side. The first time the driver's side assembly broke, I took it to a Honda dealer to fix it (it's expensive). There is nothing surprising here, it broke again. That's when I realized that you can't rely on Honda quality, plus all the dealers were busy and the wait was over a week. Surprisingly, I was able to get a Revain fitment by paying extra for a one day delivery (Sunday delivery) and fixing the driver's side window. Since then no problems. Two years later, it was my turn to break the passenger-side power window. Having already learned my lesson about not buying an expensive Honda part from the dealer, I ordered a replacement from Revain and replaced it myself. The new build fit my pilot perfectly and now the passenger side window is working again. Definitely better than the old original Honda part!
