Good fit but short lived

Good fit but short lived. That's really my only complaint, but if you make replacements like this a lot, it's not a big deal, it's just a hassle to spend $40+ and waste all day getting the job done when you do it expect. will last more than a few years.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • High price

Great replacement for Honda Pilot Regulator OEM Dior

You may need 1.5-2.0 hours to repair this. This is the 4th door I am repairing from my Honda Pilot (problem with some Pilot 03-08'), all parts are this Dorman brand. All previous 3 without problems. Great value compared to your local auto parts store, $90+ and $140 from the dealer. There are several videos on YouTube showing how to fix this. Again, this is a project you can do yourself at home without the fluff.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Poor quality - failed in less than 2 years

I have replaced 6 of these Dorman ESCs on my 2006 Honda Pilot (the rears have been replaced once and the fronts have been replaced twice). The original factory regulators lasted around 7-8 years, while the rear replacements so far last 3-4 years (although they are rarely used). Both front power windows (from Revain) failed in less than 2 years. Plastic parts usually break at the point where the cable is wrapped around the motorcycle.

  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Passenger Side Power Window Honda Pilot Motorized

I just received the Honda Pilot Passenger Side Power Window Control. The delivery was on time and the price was the best of all. Installation was easy (less than 30 minutes) and fit my 2006 Honda Pilot perfectly. Since installing the product I've saved a good $500. The old ESC wire became tangled and was replaced before I bought the car. The new one worked like a champ, up and down with no issues.

Will not buy again

This power window and regulator failed in less than 6 months. This is the passenger window, which is rarely used since I mostly drive alone. I didn't purchase a warranty through Revain because I figured I didn't need it on a Dorman product normally sold in Auto Zone. Next time I'll go to the auto zone. This is the third product sold by Revain in 6 months to fail prematurely or arrive broken. Disappointing.*Pro: Easy installation. The Dorman products sold by Auto Zone are good products.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Short Manual

Works well with power windows

This is the second one I've bought. The first was to replace the driver's side regulator which failed after 3 years and 70,000 miles (slightly less time than the original in terms of mileage). The manufacturer replaced it under warranty. The passenger side (this one) failed this week. I replaced it with no problem. This regulator was poorly designed and will fail whether you buy it from Honda or the aftermarket. If I remember correctly, there was a class action lawsuit against Honda related to…

  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Window regulator Dorman Honda Pilot

Easy installation, holes already lined up with holes in door frame. The front doors were slightly more difficult than the rear doors. I used masking tape to keep the windows from falling down during installation and washed off the remaining tape. The first installation should take around 45 minutes with a learning curve. I did all 4 on my pilot and it took 10 minutes to replace the passenger side door controller. UPDATE: I had to deduct two stars as the passenger side front end lasted just over

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Expensive

Better than the original Honda part

Honda has a serious manufacturing defect in the power window assemblies used in the Honda Pilot. Here you have the advertised Japanese quality. My sunroof broke twice on the driver's side and now on the passenger side. The first time the driver's side assembly broke, I took it to a Honda dealer to fix it (it's expensive). There is nothing surprising here, it broke again. That's when I realized that you can't rely on Honda quality, plus all the dealers were busy and the wait was over a week…
