Review on πŸ“± IQShield 2-Pack Anti-Bubble Clear Film Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus - Case Friendly (Non-Glass) by Amy Collins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great (IF you follow the instructions)

I got this because I don't need another glass protector and I just need something to protect the screen from scratches. FAST RECEPTION: Easy to apply, comfortable touch, high gloss finish, no magnet to print and smooth surface make the touch screen super responsive. Once applied I was able to use my phone in about 30 minutes (fully applied and edges smoothed out) but the protection does not fully cure within 12-24 hours. You get 2 treads and plenty of fluid for your next install on the road. WATCH the video instructions and save yourself trouble. DETAILED REVIEW AND TIPS: I admit I was a bit scared when I opened the box. After seeing all the articles in it, I realized that this is no ordinary plug and play protection. Thanks, however, to IQ Shield for an updated video of users going through the installation process. They tell you how to find the video but here is a link to make it easy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbfAq-YNZTc&t=34s After watching the video to the end, i decided to wait install it. You need time to let the installation dry and "cure". It is recommended to set this at night or at other times when you will not be using your phone for several hours if possible. By the way, the protector looks a little bigger out of the box than the end result after application. I think it has to do with how tight it fits on the screen(?). For those having trouble with the screen sticking, you either didn't have enough liquid or you used too much. As for the edges, you have to wait a few minutes (after applying the protective film to the flat part of the screen) before pressing the edges. I actually tried hurrying and the edges wouldn't stay down. After waiting about 12 minutes, it wasn't hard to press and hold for a few seconds to get them to stay in place. You can see I ended up with a nice high gloss finish although my webcam didn't take the best picture. . There is a small mistake in the bottom left corner, it's my fault. I lied and put the phone back in the case right after applying it, so a small part of the protector lifted off. This is normal and doesn't really bother me. Next time I will follow the instructions and wait for the installation to complete before replacing my case. Because it doesn't seem to hold or even repel fingerprints (even when I use lotion), my screen is smoother and more responsive. Previously, my screen picked up oils and fingerprints that slowed down movement, and now I can scroll much more easily. Everything looks sharper with a smoother, cleaner screen. Hope that makes sense! I saw a review complaining about the "rubbery feel" of the tread. I think that's the way it should be. It has a slightly rubbery feel and I prefer it to the hard glass feel of my last tread. After a few months it ripped at the edges. I expect this one to be more flexible and I won't have this problem. It's easy (if you follow very simple instructions) and - minus the curing time - quick to install. My suitcase fits like there's nothing in the way. I like the look of the screen - it's the same as when I first bought it and it's easier to clean. The protector is thankfully not a fingerprint magnet. Honestly I'm not the smartest person but I had no problem fitting this protector. In my opinion most of the problems people have with this are due to not following the instructions provided (especially the video) or being in a hurry. Last tip: don't forget to put the fabric back in the bag. There is enough liquid to install a second screen, but I don't want to soil the fabric or lose the liquid. This liquid seems ideal for installation.
