The boot got stuck on the spark plug after a year.
A year later the misfires started again so I decided to pull out the coil packs and check the spark plugs. The first one I tried to pull out got so stuck that I spent hours trying to rip the boot out piece by piece. A pack of four of these reels costs less than a pack of one reel from a single popular brand. But even if you're broke I wouldn't recommend them. If you dare anyway, grab some dielectric grease and apply it liberally to the spark plug (but not the metal tip) and the outside of the boot, hopefully saving yourself a miserable future attempt to get the stuck boot out.
