Review on CHICOLOGY Windows Treatments Darkening Filtering by Dan Phillips

Our new home has beautiful arched double doors in the entryway with sloping glass windows. They look amazing but at night people driving down the street can peek into our house. I looked everywhere for something that would match the 20" x 60" windows in each door but couldn't find anything other than custom made blinds that cost several hundred dollars each. I didn't want to install wooden or imitation wood blinds; I was afraid that when the doors are opened they would knock on the windows and scratch or break the glass. We tested vinyl frost without adhesive for privacy, but didn't want to sacrifice daytime visibility. I found these at Revain and ordered the 23" x 64" size and they fit PERFECTLY. They have enough overlap on the windows that no one can see in, but they still manage to get the doorknobs and locks off. We have them fitted just above our windows using the external bracket shown in the instructions.The instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the curtains went up quickly - the hardest part was screwing them into the mahogany door!Works very well - very easy to lift and close Lowers. During the day they let some light in, so if you need a blackout curtain this isn't the case. The fabric is on the thin side. However, they do block the view and that's why we need them. Only flaw so far: the edges of the title bar are visible when mounted outside and are white instead of brown, however someone has to be right next to them to see it and I think I can color some brown use to cover the plastic part. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and can only recommend it!
