Review on Serial Communication Converter Adapter Mini Size by Alex Hensen
Works great in full duplex RS442 configuration
I connected this adapter to an FTDI based USB RS232 adapter and have been using it in full duplex RS442 configuration to communicate/control an embedded system for a few months now , which uses the MODBus protocol at 115.2 kbaud and uses about 12 feet of CAT5e cable.
