Review on ☕️ Black+Decker 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker CM1160B, Black/Stainless Steel by Sam Hansen

We thought we could use this for a coffee pot in the shared office, but it didn't work. The product came in the original packaging, the lid is broken in the hinge area on the lid. The "loop" was so weak it seemed like it wouldn't survive anyway. I thought it was okay and decided to try to leave. The water diffuser is connected to the top of the lid and is the worst design I've seen. Not to mention that every attempt at brewing tasted like plastic chemicals. Even if the pot has a 2 hour warm-up period before shutting down, there's no point if the coffee burns to mud within an hour, even if it's worth half a pot. Given how many $20 coffee pots there are on the market, this one has been brought back.
