The antenna has an SWR of 1.94 - 2.45, they are trimmed at the factory so cannot be further tuned. Should be about 1 cm longer. Update - Rating downgraded to 1 star. When I installed the product with ALL MIDLAND ACCESSORIES (rg58u cable, NMO mount) it was outside the Amazon returns window, Midland customer service refused to answer the issue with anything other than "your floor is not enough". when I replied "I have a 4AWG wire with solid copper lugs connecting the NMO ground to the frame and I've tested it with a meter from the antenna to the truck frame and it's good with no degradation" , they declined to answer. Don't waste your money, get a real antenna from a real company that specializes like a tram and has customer service reps who really care about their warranty.
