Update: Although this bike was the perfect size for our Syrian, the fastener holding it to the stand broke off 4 months into ownership. For a bike this expensive, I would have thought it would last longer. On our smaller ones we had quiet spinners and never had to buy replacements. I'm disappointed that I have to shell out another $20 for another one. We welcomed a new large Syrian hamster into our home for my daughter. I looked for an impeller of this size at every pet store. I was surprised to find that this brand makes this size specifically for Syrians and our stores mainly sell Syrians, but no store stocks the correct size Silent Spinner. Choosing the right wheel size is important for back health, and low-noise spinners are best. Our little guy loves his balance bike and my daughter can sleep well now. We stay true to these wheels for our skitters. They hold up very well and are easy to clean.
