Review on Monroe 58620 Adjust Shock Absorber by Chris Cruz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

To answer a few questions I had before purchasing these shocks, they are great all round.

These dampers are worth every penny. I've been driving Dodge Caravans for about 10 years now. I've had 3 different ones and was very happy with the ride on my 99. When I first started riding my 02 the rear suspension felt a little too soft, especially having multiple kids in the back. Now I bought my 06 expecting it to be better but it's the same as 02 so I decided to put these shocks on and see if they help at all. I was a little worried they would be too stiff but they are perfect when driving unladen, it gives it a nice sports car stiff feel and takes away some of the bodywork. When I have kids in the van it still drives great. I'm going to try a trailer and next week it will be full of kids looking forward to updates when I get back from vacation. I'm planning a tongue weight of 200 pounds and 4 kids in the back seats. I almost forgot to mention that the springs can be easily removed, just unscrew a screw. I hope this is helpful. FYI if you plan to tow anything on your Grand Caravan it is VERY important to install a transmission cooler.
