Quick and easy suspension upgrade

I used it on a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that had leaking and worn shock absorbers. The original shocks were OEM standard with a single leaf spring at the bottom. I wanted to install a hitch to tow a small 750 lb trailer plus cargo. These dampers improved the suspension a bit without making the ride too harsh when going over bumps. I also installed Timbren shock absorbers over the rear axle in place of the stock ones. During normal driving, these shock absorbers provide a smooth and consistent…

Great update for my caravan!

I bought these shock absorbers a few weeks ago for my 2003 Dodge Caravan SE and only got around to installing them last night. Installation was easy and only took 30 minutes! Thanks to Dodge for making the rear shock replacement incredibly easy! This has got to be the easiest shock swap I've ever done! Lift the rear end and place stands under the axle.2. Remove tires.3. Remove the upper shock mounting bolts.4. Remove the lower shock absorber mounting bolts.5. Install the lower part of the shock

Pros

When I first started riding my 02 the rear suspension felt a little too soft, especially having multiple kids in the back. Now I bought my 06 expecting it to be better but it's the same as 02 so I decided to put these shocks on and see if they help at all. I was a little worried they would be too stiff but they are perfect when…

Bought this kit for my wife's 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. I've already installed them on my '89 Ford Bronco 2 and I can tell you they're very stiff but amazingly responsive on this thing. I was skeptical about packing them in my wife's van as I prefer that she drive more comfortably. But due to the weight of the car and the fact that we are a family of 5 I went for it anyway. I'm very glad I did, don't let the reviews put you off as they can be harsh. The weight of the DGC balances the stiffness…
