Good value for money, I recommend it.

Regarding the slide switch, about which a lot of nonsense is written here: I specifically went to the optibay website, where it is written in black and white that the switch was created for old laptops that do not support the sata III interface, and has 2 positions: when the switch slider is closer to the connector - this is sata III mode, if in the opposite direction - this is sata II mode. And it has nothing to do with the manufacturer of the laptop. And there is no middle ground either. At least according to the documentation. Works fine for me in sata III mode.

Pros

I approached the lenovo g50 laptop (I don’t remember the exact model), removed the front panel from the removed dvd drive, got into the sled like a glove. The hard drive in the sled fits without problems, works as expected

Cons

The design is flimsy, but given that I put it inside the laptop case and "forgot", I'm not going to change hard drives often, it will do. For those who want to periodically change hard drives in a sled, I recommend choosing a more durable design.
