Great price for such a good blender. It has a very intelligent slow start so it gradually mixes the powder into the juice and then picks up speed on its own and finishes the job! Herr Auster thinks very well! I like it! If you're feeling very tired and old, you can poison yourself with black goo stuck to the blade of your blender. To clean, rinse after each daily use and then fill halfway with hot water and detergent. and mix again! Always sniff the inside before adding ingredients to make sure nothing smelly, gross, or black is growing around the blade. I store mine with the lid open to dry. through the dishwasher is necessary if you wash a lot of dishes if, like me, you drink smoothies every day.
