The diameter is too small for daffodil bulbs and you have to kneel down to use this toy drill. It is best to purchase a 24 inch long, 3 inch diameter planting auger for daffodil bulbs. The extra length means you don't have to get on your knees to plant the bulbs. The bulbs should be 6 inches deep and pulse digging is essential with any earth auger.
