Review on 🚴 Topeak Modula Cage EX Adjustable Water Bottle Cage with Modified Shape for Bicycles by Michael Thaxton

I've had trouble finding a bottle cage for my Thermos Intak bottles which are oblong rather than round and also taller than others (they are 24oz but are similar in diameter to a bottle - for 20 ounces of cola - simply oval). Due to the bottle's irregular shape, which is very comfortable to hold with one hand, most bottle holders I found were just plain unreliable. The bottle slipped or fell out with small bumps, in part because the handles on the mounts didn't fully enclose the bottle and were too short. Anyway, this trick worked. I can rotate my bottle so the oval fits the wide side of the mount and tighten the mount so it's snug, not slipping or anything. I use it with an inexpensive Bell Clinch universal mount which has a thick piece of rubber and velcro to fit my bike's curved frame - the position of the bolts on the frame is too far forward for my bottle of Intak and I don't have room on it my handlebars for more typical mounts.
