I have this for our quarterdeck. Yes I understand this is not an outdoor heater but the area we used it in is closed and it is only outside during use. Now that it's getting colder I've been looking for a small, inexpensive way to heat the patio so the kids can play outside, stay warm and get some fresh air. Measuring 11 inches in height and 7.25 inches in width, this oscillating fan heater doesn't take up much space. space, but quickly heats up our aft deck. Because the area is open, the heat doesn't get suffocating. The fan oscillates 70 degrees so it covers a large area. It features a power indicator, an adjustable thermostat (2 temperature settings) and a cool-to-the-touch body/body (including the handle) so accidental burns are eliminated. We haven't used it indoors and when we use it outside we plug it into a surge protector for extra security. No problems so far and we're staying warm outside.
