The product comes with a metal triangle that is made from 3 pieces you need to screw together. It is then supposed to be screwed into the heater at the top to serve as buffer from the heater's surface. It did not screw in well. I had to use a different screw to make it work. It makes the heater awkward with this added weight on the top. The heater itself is also wobbly without this triangle guard in place. It produces heat but not something I feel good about.
