Media could not be loaded. So many reasons not to buy this system or anything else from Aquasana.1. I tried to cancel an order 30 seconds after purchase because I forgot to go to my Amazon Smiley page to donate a piece to charity. The order could not be cancelled. You can't return it through Amazon either. This was the first sign that it would suck.2. The warranty will be void if you install this yourself.3. When rinsing the stationary filter and air conditioner before use, I followed the instructions, hooked them up to my hose and rinsed them for 30 minutes each, then turned the water on for 30 seconds and then off for 30 seconds just to make sure it was clean (many people complained about small black dots on their devices). Once I hooked up the system I had to flush them around my house for another 4 hours and they still kept showing up in my bucket. To this day - 3 weeks after installation - they are still showing up in my post sump filter and I have already emptied it 5 times.3. All connections and threads are made of plastic. I connected the system with solder tape and the pre-filter and post-filter were leaking. I replaced the brass fittings and used 3 wraps of tape on the pipes, leaks. Replaced brass and 4, 5 and 6 wraps of floss electrical tape. I ended up buying two $50 Culligan sediment filters (because it was day 3 without water) to replace the pre and post filters and fix the leaks. Plastic threads screw into plastic connectors, which in turn screw into other plastic threads. for $2000 you would think it would be made out of something more durable or even something that works.4. If you need to drain the system, the standing filters hold a lot of water, I've had to change the system so many times due to leaks, adjustments, etc. I installed check valves on each end so I can cut the pipes without having to deal with a lot of water. always water. This system comes with 3 locks with no brass fittings or anything else you need to set up. The gray plastic fittings that fit between the standing filters are water permeable, so just toss them and get some more 3/4 inch brass/polyethylene nipples.5. Customer service is a bad joke and Aquasana sued them for selling faulty junk. Between the Pex crimping tool, brass cutter, Pex pipe cutter, Pex side crimping tool, all brass connectors, Pex rings, spare sump filters and spare METAL 90 degree Pex grommets (both 90 degree plastic elbows broke) I spent another $600. The system runs, although the water tastes funny. So I have a filtration system that I don't trust, but at a huge unexpected cost and because I didn't want to pay a licensed professional to install it. I have no guarantee. Finally, for some reason, my purchase was marked as a gift, so I don't even show that I'm a verified purchase. My photos are sideways, sorry. I wanted to show a few configurations where I tried swapping parts and changing the setting. I only have a 6' x 6' wall and also needed space for a litter box. I add two more mud filters, one before and one after, because I don't trust my well or permanent filter. The video shows a test setup where I tried to see if I would need to add additional filters after the sump due to fine particles. and of course I do. Which I'm going to do on my next paycheck. This review is everywhere, it's 5am now and I had to finish before I curse her name and go to bed. Final verdict: Aquasana should burn in hell and probably will if they ship their own system. their factory.
